JEFFREY HARVEY Chairman
Mr. Harvey is Managing Partner of Hickory Ridge Capital, a healthcare fund focused on tech-enabled healthcare services investments and serves on the board of Ingenios Health, Co. He is an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University and was previously a part owner of the Washington Bayhawks of Major League Lacrosse. He is Chairman of The Tewaaraton Foundation and a member of the University Club of Washington DC. He received a BS from Boston College, where he played lacrosse, and received his MBA from the University of Michigan.
Steve is the President and CEO of US Lacrosse, the national governing body of the sport of lacrosse. A native of Baltimore, Steve began playing lacrosse at St. Paul's School before attending the University of North Carolina, where he received his undergraduate degree in journalism. He was a member of two national championship teams at UNC in 1981 and 1982. Steve completed his playing career at the Mt. Washington Club in 1990.
Andrew is a vice president and business head at Aetna Inc., a Fortune 100 health care benefits company headquartered in Hartford, Connecticut. Previously, he was the executive director of the Harvard Project on American Indian Economic Development, a research and service institution at Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. Andrew is a trustee of the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian and the Nathan Cummings Foundation, serves on numerous other national boards and advisory councils, and was honored in 2011 by the World Economic Forum, which named him a Young Global Leader. A lifelong lacrosse player, Andrew is half Seneca Indian and he holds degrees from Hamilton and Harvard.
Andy is a Managing Director at BlackRock, a global investment management firm headquartered in New York City. He was introduced to lacrosse at an early age on Long Island, NY, and his playing career passed through West Islip High School, Cornell University, the Long Island Lacrosse Club, and the New York Saints (NLL). He was a part of three Ivy League championships and one Final Four appearance while at Cornell. Andy was a coach at the youth level on Long Island for his three daughters. He received both a BS and an MBA from Cornell University.
Sylvester Miniter is a graduate of Landon School Class of 1980 where he played lacrosse for Rob Bordley. He is Chief Executive Officer of Durham Capital Corporation which he founded in 1985. He graduated from Columbia University in 1990 with a BA in Political Science. He served on Landon's Board of Trustees from 1999-2008 in various capacities including Vice Chairman. He was part of the group that founded The Tewaaraton Award in 1999. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Boys and Girls Harbor. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the US Lacrosse Foundation. He is a long time supporter of the Central Park Conservancy and the US Fund for UNICEF. He lives in New York City with his wife Gillian and 2 children Serena and Quint.
John is the Vice President and Editor-in-Chief of Inside Lacrosse. In charge of IL's editorial print, online and video operations, he has worked at the Baltimore-based media company since 2000, shortly after he graduated from Syracuse's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. Over the last 12 years working with virtually everyone in the sport, he's helped Inside Lacrosse, and the game, earn national recognition from publications such as FOLIO: Magazine and The Best American Sportswriting series. He's worked with the Tewaaraton Award since its first year in 2001, and was on leadership committee in 2010 and 2011.
Susie is Director at US Lacrosse. Previously, she was with USI, IWS, LLC, and The Living Classroom Foundation. Witiich has also worked in fundraising as director of development at Washington College and director of the annual fund at Cabrini College. A graduate of Washington College in Chestertown, Md., where she played lacrosse, Wittich received her Bachelor of Arts in humanities and a minor in sociology. Suzie is a member of the University Club of Washington DC.
