TAF Mourns Geppi-Aikens Passing
The Tewaaraton Awards Foundation would like to extend its sincere condolences to the family of Diane Geppi-Aikens, the Loyola College community, her Greyhound coaching staff and all of her players.

Diane will forever be an icon for the game of lacrosse and was an inspiration to all who knew her. She began as an All-American goaltender and finished up her final season on the Loyola sidelines as the National Coach-of-the-Year. It is truly an appropriate way for her to be remembered considering the number of lives that she touched.

We are proud to have honored her at our annual dinner on June 4th with our Tewaaraton Recognition Award for her love of the sport and service to her community. Everyone who was in attendance that evening to watch a special tribute understands the impact she has had. Her spirit will live on through the Tewaaraton Recognition Award for years to come.

Diane has truly been a role model to us all and we will never forget her.
