ANNOUNCING ESPN+ LIVESTREAM OF 2026 TEWAARATON CEREMONY PRESENTED BY STIFEL

26th annual ceremony begins at 7 p.m. ET on May 28



WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Tewaaraton Foundation announced today that the 2026 Tewaaraton Award Presented by Stifel will be livestreamed exclusively on ESPN+ beginning at 7 p.m. ET on Thursday, May 28, bringing college lacrosse’s most prestigious night to fans across the country.


The 26th annual Tewaaraton Award Ceremony, held at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium in Washington, D.C., will honor the nation’s top men’s and women’s college lacrosse players while celebrating the sport’s Native American heritage and recognizing individuals who have made a lasting impact on the game.

The ceremony will include the presentation of the 2026 Tewaaraton Award Presented by Stifel, honoring the top male and female college lacrosse players in the United States. The event will also recognize the recipients of the Tewaaraton Outstanding Haudenosaunee Scholarships Presented by Hildene Capital, as well as Tewaaraton Legend Award recipient Mike French and Spirit of Tewaaraton Award recipient Jack Emmer.


The 2026 finalists on the women’s side are Alyssa Chung (U.S. Naval Academy), Brigid Duffy (U.S. Military Academy), Chloe Humphrey (University of North Carolina), Reagan O’Brien (Johns Hopkins University), and Madison Taylor (Northwestern University). The men’s finalists also included Owen Duffy (University of North Carolina), Willem Firth (Cornell University), Nate Kabiri (Princeton University), Shawn Lyght (University of Notre Dame), and Joey Spallina (Syracuse University).


Fans can watch the ceremony live on ESPN+ beginning at 7 p.m. ET. Tickets for the event remain available at tewaaraton.com.
