WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Tewaaraton Foundation is pleased to announce that Dan Glading, partner, portfolio manager, and head of the Washington, D.C. office for Brown Advisory, has joined its Board of Directors.

A former standout at the University of Virginia, Glading brings to the foundation a distinctive blend of elite athletic accomplishment, financial expertise, and community leadership. As an attackman for the Cavaliers from 2006 to 2009, he helped lead the program to an NCAA Championship in 2006. A three-time USILA All-American and finalist for the 2009 Tewaaraton Award, Glading cemented his reputation among the elite players of his generation.
Following his collegiate career, he was selected fifth overall in the 2009 Major League Lacrosse Draft by the Washington Bayhawks.
Glading is now a partner and portfolio manager at Brown Advisory, where he leads the firm’s Washington, D.C., office and works with the portfolio management team to oversee balanced accounts for private and institutional clients.
“It’s an honor to join the Tewaaraton Foundation and continue supporting the award and its mission to recognize excellence in the sport of lacrosse while honoring the game’s rich history,” said Glading.
“Dan brings leadership, experience and a long-term perspective to strengthen the Foundation.” said Jeffrey Harvey, Chairman of the Tewaaraton Foundation Board of Directors. "We are particularly proud to have a former Tewaaraton finalist who has accomplished great success off the field in the financial sector."
